Nice earrings!

I had my jeweler check out these earrings for color & clarity. Her findings are exactly as advertised. However she said that one earring had more inclusions than the other one so they do not match. Small and pretty

These earrings are very small maybe somewhere between 3 and 4mm each. They do appear white (I don't see any yellow tinting) with a slight slight bit of grey which I prefer over a super white look (as you might sometimes find in a cz). These earrings catch the light nicely showing a bit of rainbow effect. They aren't super super sparkly or faceted but they do possess shine and detail. I am very happy with these earrings as they are just what I wanted: something petite and real set in yellow gold and with a nice clean and "believably" sparkly look! This tiny price for these flawless stones?!? Lab created forever.

Ever been to a restaurant that offers wild caught salmon? What about farm raised salmon? You know which I prefer? The fresher fish! But if both are equally fresh then I don't care where it came from and it boils down to price. The farm raised salmon will probably be cheaper because artificially increasing the supply in a predictable way will lower the price due to basic economic principles.



The same principles apply to precious stones only much more dramatically. I cannot believe I got these stones at this price when it goes for twice as much (easily) at a store where their sapphires are "caught in the wild". The wonder of lab creation gives you a stone identical down to the molecular level of a traditional sapphire. Did I mention that this means you get a flawless inclusion-free product? And I feel I've never seen a sapphire quite this shade of pleasing blue like International Klein Blue or lapis lazuli. The cherry on top is the guarantee of not having to worry about possible "blood diamonds" and other jewels of similarly morally questionable origin.



This jewel is 6mm wide and only $170. It is gorgeous. I will never buy another traditional stone. Lab created forever!More detail ...

I bought this diamond stud earrings for my baby sister for Christmas. Received them even earlier than scheduled.

They came well-packed and the quality of the earrings seems to be exactly as advertised. I am not a professional jeweler but both my sis and I are quite satisfied.

Hit or miss with low-priced diamonds

With this inexpensive grade of diamonds visible flaws can be very likely as can off-colors. Combine that with cloudiness rather than the clearly refracting internal facets of a good diamond and the stones are dull and lifeless.



Unfortunately the slightly larger size of 1/2cttw makes these flaws more apparent. The result is hit-or-miss depending on your particular stones. Mine was more miss than hit so I returned them rather than giving the flawed earrings to my wife. I also got a pair of the 1/3 cttw diamonds (very similar and cheaper): 14k White Gold Round Diamond Stud Earrings (1/3 cttw K-L Color I3 Clarity) . That pair worked very well and was bright and clear as shown by shining a flashlight into the stones.



Amazon's lenient return policy applies equally to jewelry of course.
